So I now have the devastating news about my condition it feels like I am in a whirlwind unable to take in what is being said to me.
I returned to my local hospital to find out what was the next steps My consultant at the time explained that my condition needed to be looked at by a specialist cancer treatment center and that she would try and get me referred to the nearest one to me in my case it was St Bartholomew's hospital in the city of London it seemed to take forever for the referral to come March and April passed I hadn't heard anything I was now getting quite anxious.
May has now arrived, and the postman brings me the letter I have waited so long for to meet Professor Cavenagh or one of his team I met with a wonderful consultant Dr Kayleigh Mc Closkey who I have to say put me at ease straight away the first thing she said was get ready for the biggest roller coaster of your life
